Barn Conversion, Ashton

  • Location: Ashton, Cornwall
  • Status: Under construction
  • Client: Private

Planning approval was previously passed and we were asked to oversee the building regulations and CDM for the project. This is a full demolition and rebuild of a classic Cornish stone built barn that is retaining the same character and footprint but utilising new better modern methods of construction to ensure the property provides a healthy and vibrant place to live set in one of the most beautiful and quietest villages in Cornwall. As part of the project it has been necessary to provide details specific to the build and to liaise with structural engineers as well as drainage and utility companies to overcome some of those minor elements that could have otherwise posed issues.

Reviving the past by bringing life to the disused barn.
